Delete Account and Data

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Delete local journal data

Deleting local data does not automatically delete a cloud backup or Google Play transaction record.

Request deletion of cloud data or an account relationship

  1. Email seok7302@gmail.com with the subject “Onjongil account and data deletion request”.
  2. Send the request from the Google address linked to Onjongil, when applicable.
  3. State whether you want all Onjongil data removed or only specific data. Do not include your password or journal text.

If you used only an anonymous session, include any account or technical identifier shown in your support context if available. Without an identifier, anonymous server records may not be reliably attributable to you; local data can still be removed on the device.

What we delete after verification

Verified requests are normally completed within 30 days and may include:

You may request deletion of specific Onjongil data without requesting deletion of every account-related record.

Shared identity and limited retention

The same Firebase/Google identity may be used by another app from the developer. Before deleting the global Firebase Authentication identity, we may confirm whether that would affect access to another app. Onjongil-specific data included in a verified request can still be deleted.

Google Play keeps purchase and subscription records under its own policies. We may retain minimal records longer when required for legal compliance, transaction integrity, security, or fraud prevention and will explain this when it affects a request.
