Privacy Policy
Effective July 29, 2026
Heisei is a camera application published by Youngseok Oh. This policy explains what the Android app processes and what is sent to service providers.
Photos and camera access
Heisei uses camera permission only to let you take photos. Captures, edits, the Heisei Roll, and your MY CCD identity are processed and stored locally on your device. Heisei does not upload your photos to a Heisei-operated server.
A copy leaves the app only when you explicitly export it to system Photos or share it through Android or another app. The destination's privacy terms then apply to that copy.
Analytics
Release versions use Google Firebase Analytics to understand app reliability and feature use. Events may include screen views, camera permission outcome, shutter and capture result, selected camera or settings, and export or share outcome. Firebase may process app-instance, device, operating-system, and approximate technical information needed to provide analytics. Heisei does not request Android advertising identifiers.
Crash diagnostics
Release versions use Google Firebase Crashlytics. When a crash or diagnostic event occurs, Firebase may process crash traces, diagnostics, app version, device model, and operating-system information so that we can find and fix defects.
Service provider and transfers
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are services provided by Google. Their processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and applicable Firebase terms. Network traffic to Firebase is encrypted in transit.
What we do not do
- We do not offer accounts or collect names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, financial information, or health information.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not show ads or use data for advertising.
- We do not operate cloud photo storage.
Retention and your choices
App-local photos, settings, and MY CCD data remain until you delete them, clear Heisei's app data, or uninstall the app. Exported or shared copies must be removed from their destination separately. Firebase retains analytics and diagnostic data according to the configured Firebase retention settings and Google's service terms.
You can deny camera permission, change it later in Android Settings, and use Android and Google privacy controls where available.
Children
Heisei is not primarily directed to children. We do not knowingly collect account or contact information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or its service providers change. The effective date above will identify the current version.
