Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Grammarlyzer Android application (package com.grammarlyzer.app), provided by ZEROSEOK ("Grammarlyzer", "we", or "us"), accesses, collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information.

Summary. Routine grammar checking runs on your device. Text is sent off the device only when you expressly request AI Polish or use a cloud synchronization feature. Free users may see Google-served ads. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information processed on your device

Text entered, pasted, selected through Android's text-processing menu, or shared to Grammarlyzer is checked by the app's local grammar engine. Routine grammar checking does not send that text to Grammarlyzer servers.

Editor drafts, app settings, theme preferences, local polish history, and personal-dictionary terms may be stored in the app's private storage. This local data remains on the device unless a cloud feature described below is used. It can be removed from the app where that control is available or by uninstalling the app.

2. Account and authentication data

Grammarlyzer uses Firebase Authentication. Depending on how you use the app:

We use this information to authenticate you, separate account data, enforce usage limits, synchronize eligible Pro features, and manage subscription entitlement.

3. AI Polish

AI Polish is optional and runs only after you request it. The submitted text, chosen style, optional voice or custom instruction, and protected terms needed for that request are sent over HTTPS to Grammarlyzer's backend. The backend forwards the request to an AI-processing provider, currently OpenAI, or to a service operating on our behalf, and returns the generated result.

Grammarlyzer's request handler does not intentionally write the raw AI request text into quota or billing records. The provider may process and retain request data under its applicable service terms and privacy commitments. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, regulated, or third-party information unless you are authorized and comfortable sending it for cloud processing.

4. Cloud-synchronized content and usage records

Firebase Firestore may store the following data under your Firebase user identifier:

Local Polish history is limited by the app. Cloud-synchronized Pro history is also bounded by the service. You can clear eligible history in the app or delete the account and associated cloud data.

5. Subscriptions and Google Play Billing

Monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions are processed by Google Play. Google handles payment-card and billing-account details; Grammarlyzer does not receive or store your full payment information. To verify entitlement, the app and backend process your Firebase user identifier, product identifier, purchase token, subscription state, expiry time, latest order identifier, and verification timestamps. A hashed purchase-token record is used to prevent the same purchase from being claimed by multiple accounts.

6. Advertising and consent

Free users may see banner ads supplied by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform may process advertising identifiers, device and app information, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, consent choices, and ad impressions or interactions to provide, limit, personalize where permitted, measure, secure, and prevent fraud in advertising. Available consent choices depend on your region and device settings. Pro users are intended to receive an ad-free experience while their entitlement is active.

We use service providers only for the app functions described in this policy:

We do not sell personal information. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and according to the service configuration we use.

9. Security

Network requests use HTTPS. Authentication tokens are used to authorize protected endpoints, and account data is separated by Firebase user identifier. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Retention and deletion

Deleting your Grammarlyzer account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription or request a refund. Manage subscriptions separately in Google Play. Limited records may be retained when legally required or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement, and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

11. Children's privacy

Grammarlyzer is a general-audience writing tool and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law to manage an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children contrary to applicable law.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app or its providers change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.

본 개인정보처리방침은 ZEROSEOK이 제공하는 Grammarlyzer Android 앱 (패키지 com.grammarlyzer.app)이 정보를 접근, 수집, 이용, 제공, 보관 및 삭제하는 방법을 설명합니다.

요약. 일반 문법 검사는 기기에서 처리됩니다. 사용자가 AI Polish를 직접 요청하거나 클라우드 동기화 기능을 이용할 때만 관련 텍스트가 기기 밖으로 전송됩니다. 무료 사용자는 Google 광고를 볼 수 있습니다. 당사는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다.

1. 기기 내에서 처리되는 정보

앱에 입력·붙여넣기한 텍스트와 Android의 텍스트 처리 또는 공유 기능으로 전달한 텍스트는 로컬 문법 엔진에서 검사됩니다. 일반 문법 검사를 위해 해당 텍스트를 Grammarlyzer 서버로 보내지 않습니다.

편집기 초안, 앱 설정, 테마, 로컬 Polish 기록, 개인 사전 용어는 앱의 비공개 저장공간에 보관될 수 있습니다. 아래의 클라우드 기능을 사용하지 않는 한 기기 밖으로 전송되지 않으며, 앱의 삭제 기능 또는 앱 제거를 통해 삭제할 수 있습니다.

2. 계정 및 인증 정보

앱은 Firebase Authentication을 사용하며, 이용 방식에 따라 다음 정보가 처리됩니다.

이 정보는 인증, 계정별 데이터 구분, 사용량 제한, Pro 기능 동기화 및 구독 권한 관리에 사용됩니다.

AI Polish는 사용자가 직접 요청할 때만 실행됩니다. 제출한 텍스트, 선택 스타일, 선택적 음성·사용자 지침 및 요청 처리에 필요한 보호 용어가 HTTPS를 통해 Grammarlyzer 백엔드로 전송됩니다. 백엔드는 요청을 현재 OpenAI 등 AI 처리업체 또는 당사를 대신해 운영되는 서비스에 전달하고 결과를 반환합니다.

Grammarlyzer 요청 처리기는 원문을 사용량 또는 결제 기록에 의도적으로 저장하지 않습니다. 다만 AI 처리업체는 적용되는 서비스 약관과 개인정보 보호 기준에 따라 요청 데이터를 처리·보관할 수 있습니다. 민감하거나 기밀인 정보는 전송에 대한 권한과 필요성을 확인한 후 이용해 주세요.

4. 클라우드 동기화 콘텐츠 및 사용 기록

Firebase Firestore는 Firebase 사용자 식별자와 연결하여 다음 정보를 저장할 수 있습니다.

로컬 및 클라우드 기록에는 수량 제한이 적용됩니다. 앱에서 대상 기록을 지우거나 계정과 연결된 클라우드 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다.

5. 구독 및 Google Play 결제

월간·연간 Pro 구독은 Google Play가 처리합니다. 카드 및 결제 계정 정보는 Google이 관리하며 당사는 전체 결제정보를 받거나 저장하지 않습니다. 구독 권한 검증을 위해 Firebase 사용자 식별자, 상품 ID, 구매 토큰, 구독 상태, 만료 시각, 최근 주문 ID 및 검증 시각을 처리합니다. 동일 구매의 중복 사용을 막기 위해 구매 토큰의 해시 기록을 사용합니다.

무료 사용자는 Google AdMob 배너 광고를 볼 수 있습니다. Google Mobile Ads SDK와 User Messaging Platform은 광고 제공·제한·허용된 개인화·측정·보안·부정 이용 방지를 위해 광고 식별자, 기기·앱 정보, IP 주소, IP로 추정한 대략적 위치, 동의 선택 및 광고 노출·상호작용 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 선택 가능한 동의 항목은 지역과 기기 설정에 따라 달라집니다. Pro 권한이 활성화된 동안에는 광고가 표시되지 않도록 설계되었습니다.

당사는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 각 제공업체는 자체 약관·개인정보 보호정책 및 당사가 설정한 서비스 구성에 따라 정보를 처리합니다.

네트워크 요청은 HTTPS를 사용합니다. 보호된 API는 인증 토큰으로 접근을 확인하고, 계정 데이터는 Firebase 사용자 식별자로 구분합니다. 다만 어떠한 저장·전송 방식도 완전한 보안을 보장할 수 없습니다.

Grammarlyzer 계정을 삭제해도 Google Play 구독이 자동 취소되거나 환불이 요청되지는 않습니다. 구독은 Google Play에서 별도로 관리해 주세요. 법적 의무, 부정 이용 방지, 분쟁 해결 등에 합리적으로 필요한 제한된 기록은 관련 목적에 한해 보관될 수 있습니다.

11. 아동의 개인정보

Grammarlyzer는 일반 사용자를 위한 글쓰기 도구이며 만 13세 미만 또는 지역 법률상 독립적으로 계정을 관리할 수 있는 최소 연령 미만의 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 관련 법률에 반하여 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

12. 변경 및 문의

앱 또는 제공업체 변경에 따라 본 방침을 업데이트할 수 있으며, 중요한 변경사항을 게시할 때 시행일을 갱신합니다.
